The secluded and peaceful location was fantastic, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lack of phone signal was a blessing, allowing us to fully disconnect and relax. The host, Carly, was incredibly welcoming and offered assistance whenever needed. The complimentary bottle of prosecco and smores hamper upon arrival was a thoughtful gesture. we would highly recommend this place for a tranquil getaway.
The bumpy track leading to the lodge, which could be a bit uncomfortable for those with sensitive backs or cars that are low to the ground. while the compost toilet was clean and easy to use, some guests might find it less convenient than a standard flush toilet.

The challenge of transporting luggage from the car to the lodge. Although the host offered assistance and provided wheelbarrows, it was still a bit of a hassle.
